Neinor Homes and Saint-Gobain have signed an agreement for the use of sustainable construction solutions manufactured by Saint-Gobain in Neinor Homes' projects. This alliance aims to achieve key objectives such as decarbonization of processes and the use of low-carbon footprint products, circular economy practices, water and biodiversity management, innovation, and promotion of a green economy.

As part of this agreement with the Saint-Gobain Group, Neinor will promote the specification of these materials in its developments, such as ORAÉ® glass from Saint-Gobain Glass, the world's first low-carbon footprint glass made with 70% recycled material; the futuRE partition system, an innovative complete construction system from Isover and Placo® for interior partitioning that reduces carbon footprint by 20%; or webertherm circle from Saint-Gobain Weber, the first 100% recyclable External Thermal Insulation Composite System (ETICS) on the market, which allows for the reuse of materials used in this thermal insulation system for facades.

In this way, Neinor, which has announced the signing of five strategic alliances in the last four months to promote sustainable construction, takes another step towards fulfilling its ESG strategy. This time, it does so hand in hand with a leading firm like Saint-Gobain, known for launching pioneering sustainability and circularity solutions in recent years. All these solutions and systems, as well as expert advice on their use and application, will be provided by Saint-Gobain's technical teams in collaboration with Neinor Homes' teams to materialize their commitment to projects that achieve the best environmental certifications in the field of sustainable construction.

Decarbonization with efficient and sustainable solutions

Esther Soriano, CEO of Saint-Gobain Solutions, has emphasized, "This alliance represents a significant step in our commitment to transforming the market towards sustainability. Saint-Gobain has outlined in its Roadmap 2030 the goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, but it is together with key players in the market that we will achieve a greater impact towards the decarbonization of the construction sector. The necessary solutions to achieve sustainable construction are already available, thanks to the sustainable innovation efforts of our teams."

According to Fernando Hernanz, COO of Neinor Homes, "Promoting an agreement like this with Saint-Gobain to drive sustainable construction is a major step in our ESG objectives. We are convinced that both firms will achieve very positive results together thanks to this alliance. For Neinor, promoting the use of sustainable materials in our developments is more than an objective, it is an obligation to society, our customers, and of course, the environment."
